When We Are Closed
Emergency medical cover is provided by NHS24 and GMED when we are closed (6pm-8.00am Monday to Friday), at weekends, during public holidays and practice protected learning sessions. If you need urgent medical treatment during these times you can contact NHS24 direct by dialling 111 or via the website http://www.nhs24.com/
Your call will be diverted to NHS24 automatically. You may be given advice over the telephone, if appropriate, or you may be asked to attend the emergency department for treatment if the doctor considers this appropriate.
Patients are reminded out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
