LOCUM GP

Hello and Welcome – we are looking for a short-term locum to join our small rural practice in beautiful Dufftown, Moray, Scotland.

The position is for 3-4 sessions a week for 2-3 months, to cover annual leave and sick leave. We can be flexible in days and hours worked. We are a small and friendly team who know our community well and provide a high level of care.

We offer a mix of same day, next day and book ahead appointments, we do not use E-Consult and are able to offer good patient access. Our appointments are 15 minutes.

· Small rural practice with a dispensing branch surgery in Tomintoul

· Training Practice for GP ST1-3

· 4 GP partners and 2 salaried GP’s

· VISION and Docman clinical systems

· Practice Nurse, Pharmacy, HCA and First Contact Physiotherapy Input

· Small close knit team

· Attached Community Hospital (no locum responsibility)

· Friendly and experienced Administrative Team

· Excellent support from Speyside Community Nursing Team

· Community Occupational Therapy Team

· Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner Clinics

· Part of local Cluster Group

We would be looking for someone keen and enthusiastic to join the team and offer a high level of clinical care

Details of start times and workload can be discussed and adjusted to the individual. We are a training practice and are used to supporting Doctors in Training.
